With the cooler early fall weather we head down to explore the Indian Caves and more before heading for Hammonasset beach

We had a chance to visit UCONN and decided to check out hikes in the area including Fifty foot cliff, Coney Rock Preserve and codfish falls.

A quick trip in the summer to see Saugatuck Falls which included the blooming Mountain Laurel, our state flower.

An amazing view from Soapstone Mountains fire tower is worthy of a trip to this obscure Connecticut park.
