Sleeping Giant Blue Trail part 2 | Sleeping Giant Hamden CT

We finished hiking all of Sleeping Giant this past Saturday. We quickly hiked up the Tower Trail and then transferred onto the second half of the Blue Trail, the last trail in the park we had yet to hike.

We brought a full group hiking with us for the first time. While it was really fun, it certainly made filming way more difficult haha! The Blue trail is the signature trail here and we had a great experience on the first half a few weeks ago. This second half does not disappoint either, but is certainly much less work. Right near the Tower you will find the best views as you walk along the ridge looking into the park. The rest of the trail provides a few small partial views but is full of gentle inclines and fun rocks to climb. Over all this second half is significantly more relaxed, perfect if you choose to do the entire blue trail in one go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sleeping Giant. Each hiking trail provides such a unique experience both in terms of challenges but also in environment. I will be creating an over all guide to the park soon so stay tuned!
