Yankee Candle Village | Deerfield Massachusetts

Yankee Candle Village is the flagship store of the Yankee Candle Company and can only be described as an amazing roadside attraction.

This store has a huge variety of merchandise for sale. There is a massive collection of candles, naturally, but also kitchen goods, Christmas ornaments, miniatures, food, jewelry, clothes, kids toys and more! What many families come for is the year round Christmas in the Bavarian Village section. This area is an almost Disney level theme Village with houses, a castle, water fall, moat and draw bridge, fountains, and year round snow.... every 4 minutes.

After you're done buying candles and ornaments you can also snack on fudge, candy, popcorn, ice cream and pizza in the food court area. Or, if you are looking for more, there is an entire micro brewery out back. This is where the pizza is made and there is a good number of drinks available.

Due to the current circumstances, the store is limited in capacity but this wasn't an issue when we visited. Several independent stalls such as Ben and Jerry's are shut down temporarily but the brewery is open and was nearly deserted so service was extremely fast! It also appeared that the candle making section was closed but I could not confirm if this was temporary or not.

You could easily spend several hours here shopping and just looking around, but even if you don't like candles [I actually can't smell!] there is still plenty to see and do here. Set aside a MINIMUM of an hour to see everything and don't be surprised when you stay longer.
